Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and lead territory sales operation; ensures timely, accurate and safe distribution of our products.Manage and lead a group of Sales Supervisors; includes coaching, mentoring, developing and supporting the team. Recommend appropriate corrective action when necessary.Ensure team is properly trained and following procedures as established by company; provides technical assistance and training to all Route Sales Supervisors, Route Sales Representatives and field service personnel as needed.Assume responsibility for obtaining profitable sales in the assigned area as established by the General Sales Manager. Provide feedback and data to management accordingly.Works with Route Sales Supervisors to maximize sales and reduce product returns.Develops and/or reviews standards, policies and procedures for all functions involved with or processes related to the distribution and sales of Franz products.Reviews and resolves product and service problems/concerns including customer complaints, quality control, and personnel related to the distribution of Franz products for their respective market.Partner with customers to address and resolve service, product and/or personnel concerns.Provide on-going performance feedback and annual reviews for team.Perform other duties as requested.Participate in weekly/monthly management meetings as required.Engages in effective and professional communications with all customers, both internal and external.Ensures work surroundings are maintained in a clean, neat, and safe manner.Support and adherence to company policies and Franz Core ValuesSafetyQualityAttitudePassionTeamworkAdditional duties and/or responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements:
3+ year of experience in a leadership position preferably in a similar industry2+ years of experience in a Route Sales positionProven record of maintaining a safe work environmentExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of personalities, both internally and externally.Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Previous experience in a union environment a plus
