We have an immediate need for a Technical Sales Representative in the Municipal Water Treatment industry based out of our Minneapolis Facility. This is a technical sales role, working directly with customers to evaluate health of water systems.
Develops, solicits and closes new accounts, generates sales quotations and handles customer inquiries. Ability to work with team members in the field including field service technicians and independent manufacturer representatives. Achieves aftermarket sales goals and targets through site visits, telemarketing, direct mail, and web-based sales strategies. The position provides timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries and issues, providing quotes, and placing orders for service, refurbs, and parts. Typically requires 5 years' experience in the
related area. You will also gain exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.

Provide quotes & proposals for parts, refurbishments, retrofits, controls rehabilitations and services toKurita America's customer baseProvide technical assistance and customer service to Kurita America's customer baseManage sales territory, including a manufacturer's representative base to achieve sales goalsMaintain accurate records of customer inquiries ensuring follow-up and customer satisfactionIncrease Profitability on the Total Aftermarket Business UnitOrders parts, fulfilling customer orders utilizing a CRM platformAcknowledges customers by responding to site visits, emails, texts, and phone callsDeals with customer complaints and resolves the issue as necessaryWork with managers, engineers and vendors to ensure accurate pricing and shipping information, including special pricing authorizationsPerformance of other duties as assigned
Qualifications
