WHAT'S THE ROLE ABOUT? As the Field Sales Representative managing part of our upper Midwest territory for the Higher Education team, you will be working alongside dedicated and driven sales professionals. You will actively seek out opportunities to represent our language education print and digital products to new and existing accounts at local colleges and universities to show their value.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
Manage and grow an assigned territory by closing business consistently to achieve sales quotas Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key education professionalsDevelop a strong understanding of customer needsDeliver impactful and engaging virtual and live presentations that show how our solutions can help solve their challenges and achieve learning outcomesPartner with sales support team and customer success to ensure a customers' needs are understood and metTravel as needed within the territory for customer meetings, industry events and attend company eventsEffectively analyze, plan and manage accounts through consistent and accurate utilization of CRM and other sales toolsYOU MUST HAVE (MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE):
Bachelor's degree minimum2-3+ years' experience in a consultative sales, business development or account management roleExperience in the education technology (ed-tech), language learning or publishing industryStrong technology orientation and experience presenting/demonstrating digital resources/programs both in-person and virtuallyExcellent relationship building, interpersonal and communication skills to effectively and appropriately speak with customers and team members in a professional and meaningful wayAdvanced territory management, prospecting, building and negotiation skillsExperience using a CRM and other sales tools to manage sales activities and analyze related data Ability to travel during day and overnight as needed without restriction IDEAL IF YOU HAVE or ARE (PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE):
Experience teaching language courses in Higher Education or VHL product familiarityHands-on working knowledge of Salesforce.comProficiency in Spanish, German, French or ItalianAdvanced degreeLOCATION: Remote within the assigned territory. This role requires residence within one of the territory states in the United States and a willingness to travel without restriction. Ideal candidate will reside within close proximity to a major airport in Minneapolis, Minnesota, St. Louis, Missouri, or Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Relocation is not available for this position.
