The purpose of your role as a Regional Sales Leader
As a Regional Sales Leader, you will have overall responsibility for meeting the annual sales plan for the regional service business including all branch maintenance and project sales plans. This includes managing all sales personnel in conjunction with local service + building automation leadership. This position will lead the local/geographic service sales teams through expansion into new and existing markets and will serve as a business-focused sales professional providing strategic business direction to the regional General Manager and operations teams by performing the following duties:
Sales Forecasting & Reporting
Track, report and analyze sales pipelines and monthly forecasts with a high degree of accuracy utilizing Salesforce.Ensure dashboards and reports in Salesforce meet the needs of local service leaders.
Sales Plan
Meet regional sales booking plan.Achieve personal sales plan.
Sales Team Leadership
Building and coaching an outside sales team to meet or exceed annual booking plans.Manage standardized Harris sales onboarding training program for all new sales reps.Provide coaching and strategies for sales presentations, new business and account development with reps.Perform weekly sales meeting with reps.Teach sales reps the art of leveraging our product strengths and attributes to form a unique selling proposition.Leverage all sales tools, industry group affiliations, and Harris resources to develop a best-in-class sales process.
Staffing/Headcount
Ensure local regional sales teams are staffed to meet their annual business plans.Lead the recruiting effort to support General Manager; ensuring they are at the sales headcount in their annual business plan.
Market & Sales Strategy
Provide leadership and support in developing regional level competitive positioning for sales.Competitive profilesExisting business profileMarketing/Demand Generation supportMarket share reportsIndustry trendsSupport General Manager in CARE, Retention, and Strategies to retain existing customer base.
Leadership
Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team including, training, developing, motivating, and mentoring repsLead by example as a representative of the Harris culture.Emphasize a strong safety culture.
What we're looking for in you
Bachelor's degree in engineering or business required.5+ thorough understanding of mechanical systems.5+ years proficient in selling and marketing goods and services through strategies and tactics.6+ years customer service experience.5+ years proficient understanding of engineering and technology including principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment.3+ years proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team.5+ years Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PPT, and Outlook.

Pay Range: $108,352.00 to $162,528.00 per year.
The actual salary offer will vary by candidate based on a wide range of factors such as specific skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
