As Senior Sales Engineer you will partner with the Sales, Client Experience and Product teams to help deliver exceptional sales a solution experiences for our customers. You will act as a trusted client advisor that helps drive targeted, efficient, and scalable solutions that exceed client expectations. In concert with sellers and other support agents, you will help clients by conducting deep discovery to understand needs and challenges, demonstrate key concepts and systems, share best practices and stories, develop key client relationships, and connect and validate outcome-centric solutions that help solve client challenges and result in positive net benefits.

To ensure success as a Senior Sales Engineer, you should have strong technical acumen, have the ability to communicate clearly and in plain English, have a passion for curiosity and discovery, as well as be a strong leader.

You'll Get To:
Partner with Sales teams throughout the entire sales cycle as well as to develop strategic account plans and strategies.Meet with clients and conduct deep business and technical discovery to understand their needs and challengesDemonstrate Lytx products and solutions with a focus on value and differentiation.Collaborate with sales team and product management to connect client needs and challenges to targeted, efficient, and scalable solutions.Build a compelling prospect / customer solution value story that connects the solution to their challenges, creates business impact, and emphasizes competitive advantages.Explore and identify ways the current opportunity can be expanded and/or enhanced.Act as a technical product expert with the ability to speak in depth to product features, functionality, integrations, and futures.Interface with internal departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness of solution delivery.Share best practices and learning with the Sales organization.Attend selected trade shows and interface with interested clients as a subject matter expert
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree a plusMinimum of 5+ years' experience in sales, product management, consulting, or related disciplineExperience working in a solutions sales organization with an advanced understanding of sales cycles and solutions selling process; formal training in strategic value selling a plusExperience in the fleet telematics industryDemonstrated knowledge and experience with hardware and software systemsAdvanced problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to methodically understand and resolve complex issues.Proficient in Excel and/ or other data visualization softwareAbility to communicate effectively to both technical and business usersAbility to travel to visit prospects and customers up to 20%High-level communication skills, including experience presenting to C-Suite and ELT

Salary is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan. The expected hiring salary for this position is:
$113,875.00 - $143,625.00
