Overview
The North American Sales Director sets strategy develops sales plans and programs to facilitate sales growth on regional basis. This role is responsible for developing NA sales strategy, sales plans, and execution to achieve growth targets at all ICS locations. The North American Sales Director provides direction to direct Sales personnel and Sales Representatives on sales strategy for strategic accounts and key channel partners.
Responsibilities
Develop ICS strategic sales plans aimed at improving penetration in targeted markets, both established and emerging including key or strategic accounts growth in line with organizational objectives.Develop in-depth customer profiles and strategies for sales growth.Maintain timely and effective communication with staff and customers at all management levels to ensure maximum product penetration (emphasis on new product developments).Takes leadership role in major presentations of new or customized products at target accounts.Establishes short range and long-range goals and objectives that reflect sales growth and customer base expansion.Keeps management informed of competitive development and new product opportunities.Provides sales direction to direct sales personnel, representatives and distributors within ICS in order to meet or exceed annual sales budgets.Participates with Key Account Teams to establish key account plans, sales quotas and objectives.Recommends changes to field sales organization, i.e., direct personnel, sales representatives and distributors based on performance, customers base expansion and other critical success factors.Performs other related duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises exempt and non-exempt employees.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.Provides leadership, communication, and coaching to employees while cultivating a culture of motivated employees, environment of trust, teamwork, accountability, self-confidence, and business ownership.Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees. Planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving issues.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent, MBA preferredExperience Required: Ten (10+) of professional sales/marketing experience with a minimum of five (5) years in a management level. Full fluency in English is requiredThorough knowledge of OEM markets. Working knowledge of internal operation of all functions of the Company. Experience with OEM sales representatives. Excellent communication skills required for interaction internally and externally.Ability to travel as required to support customers, 10% estimated.
