We are currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative for our Stuart Hose & Pipe - Permian Basin territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for all sales activities in assigned accounts and regions. The Outside Sales Representative will manage the quality and consistency of product and service delivery.
Essential Duties:Manage a designated territory with existing and potential customersContact current and prospective customers to solicit business ordersSourcing new sales opportunities through cold callingMeeting revenue and margin goals as established by Sales DirectorRecommend products to customers, based upon customer's needs and interestsMaintain records, reports and notes on daily orders, phone conversations with customersKeep ahead of industry's developments and apply best practices to areas of improvementResolves customer challenges through investigation, developing solutions and making recommendations to managementBuild and maintain customer relationships; provide customer support with technical product information and preparing thorough and accurate quotes, order acknowledgements, samples, etc.Attend training and sales meetings as required to stay current with all company productsCollaborate with all appropriate departments and personnel to ensure customer satisfactionComply with all company rules, policies and proceduresQualifications:2+ years outside sales experience in industrial distributionCollege Degree preferredAbility to work independentlyMechanically inclined - willing to work in industrial settingsStrong organizational and follow up skillsWe are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer M/F/V/D.
