Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Inside Sales Representative to join our Inside Sales team at our Corporate Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA. This role involves engaging with luxury residential design industry professionals to promote our products and services. In this position, you would play a key part in driving demand of our lighting, controls, and shading solutions. You would contact specifier leads - identifying project opportunities, educating them on Lutron product benefits, providing sales support and resources, and connecting them with our team in the field. The ideal candidate has sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the design industry.
Responsibilities
Connect with interior design professionals, architects, and end-users through inbound and outbound phone and email activity to identify needs, learn about opportunities, and introduce and promote our productsRespond to inbound email and phone calls with a sense of urgency Foster relationship with designers to build a relationship and connect them with local sales support to drive future specifications Provide high level of service to specifiers, understanding needs and connecting them with the right resources (product sampling, product specification, in-field support, experience centers, showroom, dealers) Conduct virtual/remote product presentations to showcase the benefits and features of our offerings Collaborate with the inside sales leaders, marketing, and outside sales team to develop/refine inside sales approach and campaignsTrack and report on specification and sales activities, customer interactions pipeline status, and results using CRM software (Salesforce)Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor products, and market conditionsBecome an expert on Lutron products for our specification customers, end-users and tradepartners Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process
Qualifications
2 years of customer-centric, professional experience and High School diploma requiredIf you have <2 years of customer-centric, professional experience and a Bachelor's degree, a minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA is required5 years of proven experience in inside or outside sales, preferably within the design industry preferredStrong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by specifiers, interior designers, and architects Must live within a commutable distance of Coopersburg PA to accommodate in-office schedule
