Intro and job overview:
Preciselys Summer Internship Program is a paid, part-time opportunity for students actively enrolled in university. This is an 10-week program that begins June 9th and concludes August 15th. This opportunity is 100% remote and you must be located in the United States during the summer internship. The Pre-Sales Value Advisor Intern will work closely with the Pre-Sales Value Engineering team.
At Precisely we have increasingly invested in ensuring sustainable client success and the Value Engineering and Business Architect (VEBA) team within Presales is an instrumental part of this process. We are seeking a value advisor intern to join the VEBA Team. The value advisor intern works directly with the VP of VEBA the rest of the team in creating content and templates for client-facing deliverables. They would be able with quickly learn the VE methodology and leverage existing content to support evolution of the assets, tools and methodology. They will be comfortable working remotely and enjoy working with a high-performing team. Occasional project-based travel may be required.
Responsibilities and duties:
Contribute to the Value Engineering practice in enhancing and refining our methodology, content and toolsCreate outside-in Point of View documents that articulate Preciselys value proposition specific to a key industry verticalSupport Value Advisors to identify, develop and execute VE engagements for targeted sales opportunitiesSupport discovery workshops with clients to understand their goals, profile their current maturity across various business and data functions, identify the opportunity and cost to get to best-in-class (or the desired state) of maturity. This could be customer-facing and/or prep workSupport the creation ofhigh-quality deliverablesthatclearly articulate insights, business recommendations, solution recommendations, multi-yearroadmapsand document the fullbusinesscase to justify action.Support presentation and validation of the value proposition to various organizational levels
Requirements and qualifications:
MBA students with 2-4 years of prior work experience preferred, management consulting experience is a plusOR exceptional rising undergraduate junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor's in Business AdministrationExcellent PowerPoint and MS Excel skills.Basic familiarity with Enterprise software applications, preferably data management solutionsTravel is required: Yes May need to travel for projects. Travel costs will be reimbursed
