We are looking for a Private Dining Sales Manager to join The Watermark Hotel team and help create an experience "Like No Other" for our guests! This position will be working in coordination with the renowned WREN restaurant to organize and accommodate unique guest events. The primary goal of Private Dining Sales Manager is to maximize revenues and profitability within the restaurant, while keeping abreast of current market trends, maintaining Wren standards and directives, and practicing total asset management.

ResponsibilitiesEffectively sell and service Events and Private Dining for assigned marketsEffectively manage the pipeline of inquiries through management of incoming leads to proactive selling techniquesQualify potential business and close sales by overcoming objections and maximizing the value of the restaurant and offeringsBuild/maintain relationships with current and past clientsWrite effective contracts and Banquet Event Orders to communicate appropriately with clients and internal F&B teamCreate and execute annual and quarterly marketing plansDevelop and execute growth strategies and action plansWork in conjunction with the Hotel Sales and Catering Department to maximize exposure of WrenWork in conjunction with F&B Management team for successful preparation and execution of events and activationsMonitor and communicate industry trends within the marketplaceEnsure proper adoption and utilization of booking software and efficient departmental systemsAttend weekly restaurant managers' meetings and BEO MeetingsSupport communication and cross-selling between hotel/restaurant sales teamsParticipate in sales blitzesShare industry trends, strategies, and news with on-site hotel/restaurant teamsComplete and submit detailed and accurate design briefs to enhance our marketing collateral to raise awareness of the events and promotionsKeep an accurate and realistic timeline while submitting design briefs to allow enough lead time for promotionAssist in the development and maintenance of the websiteConsistently fill each monthly calendar with events and promotionsQualifications3-5 years of event sales, catering sales and restaurant experience in a similar environmentAbility to work a varied work schedule (days, nights, weekends, holidays as needed)Ability to think creatively and adapt to the dynamic needs of the restaurantDetail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects from inception through executionExcellent command of the English language both writing and verbal communication skills, computer literacy, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite is requiredSelf-starter with both a collaborative and hands-on approachTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorilyReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsPrior experience requiredAbility to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendorsAbility to diplomatically handle difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalismThe employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10-25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 poundsBENEFITS:Well-Being BenefitsHealth InsuranceDental & Vision InsuranceShort & Long Term DisabilityVacation PolicyIncentive Eligible
