Purpose:

Responsible for the sale of all Comtech (Xicom) RF, products to existing and prospective customers supporting the Global Sales team.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for sales development and support of Comtech (Xicom) RF products in support of all regions.Consistently meet or exceed bookings targets.Build and maintain a pipeline of active and qualified accountsPrepare and present sales proposals and ROI analyses to persuasively illustrate the operational, financial, and performance benefits of proposed Comtech solutions.Set appropriate client expectations regarding implementation and delivery.Provide weekly report of Sales activities and Sales forecasts.Provide input to Sales, Marketing, and Product Management regarding opportunities and requests by prospects for new products, features, and services.
Skills:
English speaking is required. Other languages such as French and Spanish are considered helpful but are not mandatory.Ability to calculate discounts, mark-ups and work with percentages. Ability to extrapolate annual Capex/OPEX savings and Return on Investment values via variable inputs.Traveling ability is up to 50% of the time.

Requires comprehension of satellite communications and the application of individual componentsAbility to prioritize activities to meet due datesStrong leadership qualities both with customers and employeesHighly efficient and able to multi-taskTechnically competent, with a firm understanding of satellite fundamentals and RFHighly focused on customer satisfaction, with an appreciation and comprehension of project and program implementations.Ability to set and adhere to policies, with the ability to propose acceptable alternatives to management in response to extraordinary customer requirements
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum 10 years in satellite or telecom industry
