Intro and job overview:
We are looking for talented individuals with the experience and motivation to join our innovative team. The mission for the VP Sales is to partner with the SVP of Sales and the extended Precisely leadership team to drive customer intimacy and revenue growth across a defined territory. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in selling and leading enterprise software sales teams across the Financial Services industry, strong domain knowledge of data management solutions, and recruiting and developing talent.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Grow license, data and professional services salesLead and coach the Financial Services sales team to have a customer first mindset and execute sales best practicesCoach and support the AEs to qualify opportunities and leverage the partner ecosystemDevelop and maintain a balanced pipeline across all solutions, AEs and customersWork closely with marketing and business development/prospecting teams from lead qualification to opportunity closureInterface with product management, providing customer, partner and field feedbackDrive strong sales discipline so that all AEs contribute every quarter in pipeline development and revenue attainment. Provide accurate forecasting and achieve quarterly and annual budget requirementsProvide management support to the team through regular 1:1s, quarterlyOther duties may be assigned
Requirements and Qualifications:
5-7 years in enterprise software sales (SaaS Preferred) with Capital Markets and Banking experienceBachelors degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience desiredProven success as Sales VP / Senior Sales Director with enterprise software and services sales backgroundDeep product knowledge of enterprise software data managementTrack record in the management, motivation and development of sales teamsHistory of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets quarter on quarter as well as annual basisEntrepreneurial spirit and a desire to develop new opportunitiesSuccessful at creating and executing sales strategies and building pipelineStrong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
